Greetings! Thank you for visiting the website for the Potomac Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.!
Jack and Jill is the premier organization for African American families and was founded in 1938 by Marion Stubbs Thomas. Throughout our rich 76 year history, we have provided children with educational, cultural, civic, health, recreational and social programs. We are committed to raising future leaders, trailblazers and torchbearers!
The Potomac Valley Chapter was chartered on October 4, 1984 by a group of 29 dedicated women led by Carol Leftridge. We engage in community service as well as chapter-wide events and age group activities geared towards children. We have a rich history of more than 30 years and we stand committed to “putting our children first”!
